My life changed forever when my husband, Joe, died.
Like so many people who experience profound loss, I found myself searching for answers, meaning, connection, and a way to move forward without leaving the love behind.
What I discovered continues to transform my life.
Grief is not a problem to solve. It is love learning how to live in a different form.
As I navigated my own grief, I explored dreams, intuition, signs, synchronicities, meditation, journaling, nature, and the enduring bond I still felt with Joe. Along the way, I came to understand something that changed everything for me.
The relationship had changed.
The love had not.
I don't believe we heal from grief. I believe we grow with it.
We don't leave love behind. We learn to carry it differently. Over time, grief becomes woven together with gratitude, meaning, and an enduring connection that continues to shape our lives.
That journey led me in a direction I never could have imagined.
For most of my life, I was a teacher. I still am. Today, instead of teaching children to read and write, I walk beside adults as they learn the language of grief, love, and hope, and continuing bonds.
After 37 years in education, I became a Certified Grief Educator and Grief Coach, combining professional training with my own lived experience to support others as they discover their own path through grief.
I don't have all the answers.
But I've learned that honest conversations, curiosity, compassion, creativity, nature, and a willingness to stay open to mystery can gently transform the way we experience loss.
I believe your home is already filled with memories.
I believe those memories can become a source of comfort, strength, and even possibility.
And I believe, with all my heart,
Love does not end when a life ends.
It would be an honor to walk beside you.
